Dhruv Jurel and Sanju Samson are the two wicketkeeper-batters.
The England squad arrive in batches ahead of the series opener at the Eden Gardens.
The last time India faced England in a bilateral T20I series was in 2022.
India emerge as a victorious in that three-match tour, winning 2-1.
