How to Install Nothing OS 3.0 Beta?
Follow These Steps :
- Ensure that your device is running Nothing OS 2.6 and has the following build number:
- Nothing Phone (2): Pong-U2.6-241016-1700
- Nothing Phone (2a): Pacman-U2.6-240828_1906
- If it isn’t already, go to Settings –> System –> System Update and install the available update.
- Go to Settings –> System –> Update to Beta version.
- Tap Check for new version.
- Tap Download Package.
- If you don’t see this option, this means no beta version is available for your device right now.
- Check back again later.
- When the package download is finish, Tap Install Update.
Make sure to backup your device before installing the beta update to prevent data loss.
As per Nothing, your device may experience temporary overheating and increase power consumption but will quickly return to normal, so there is no need to worry if that happens.
How to Rollback to Nothing OS 2.6?
Beta software may have critical bugs, so you can roll back to a previous stable version.
Remember to back up your important data before downgrading to a previous software version.
To roll back to Nothing OS 2.6, download the require rollback package from the Nothing community.
- Go to Settings
- Then System
- Now tap Update to Beta version.
- Tap Import file, choose the rollback package.
- Install it.
